Using this site
You may browse this site and open the sample invitations for personal use. Please do not copy our designs, artwork, code or text, and do not try to break, overload or probe the service.
The free greeting maker
The greeting maker at /greetings/ is free. A greeting is stored only inside the link you create, so we do not receive it, cannot read it, and cannot edit or delete it. Anyone who has the link can read it. You are responsible for what you write and for who you send it to. The rules under "What is not allowed" apply to greetings too. We provide the maker as it is, with no promise that a link will work forever.
Quotes and orders (we build it for you)
A project starts when you accept a written quote that states the scope, price, delivery time, revision allowance and hosting period. Prices on this site are indicative until confirmed in that quote, and you always see the total before you agree to it.
Publishing an invitation yourself
On the publish page you can create, pay for and publish an invitation without a written quote. The price of the option you choose is shown on the pricing page and again on the payment page before you pay, and it is the total you are asked to pay. Payment is taken by Dodo Payments on its own hosted page, under its own terms. Your card details never reach this site. Dodo may act as the merchant of record for the sale, in which case its page shows the seller, tax and invoice details.
Your invitation goes online as soon as the payment is confirmed and stays online for 12 months, then it is deleted with its photos. You get a private link and a QR code. Anyone who has the link can open the invitation, so share it only with the people you invite. Refunds are explained in the revisions and refunds policy.
Your content
You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, times, venues and wording, and for having permission to use every name, photo and piece of text you give us. If a photo shows another person, especially a child, you confirm that you are their parent or guardian or have their permission. Please have your family check the preview before you approve it.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited permission to store it, process it and show it to the people who open your link, only for as long as needed to provide the service you asked for, and to take it offline if these terms are broken.
What is not allowed
You may not use the service for anything unlawful, or to publish content that:
- harasses, threatens or abuses anyone, or is hateful or discriminatory;
- is obscene, sexual, or harmful to children;
- impersonates a person or organisation, or is false or misleading;
- infringes someone's copyright, trademark or privacy;
- promotes scams, gambling, or selling goods or services unrelated to the celebration;
- sends guests to unsafe sites. Links in text are removed, and a livestream link may only point to a short list of known video services.
Reporting a problem and taking content down
Anyone can report a hosted invitation using the "Report this invitation" link at the bottom of it, or by writing to the grievance contact above. For a greeting link, send us the link, because we cannot see greetings otherwise. We will acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days. We may take a hosted invitation offline at once if it appears to break these terms, if a payment is refunded or disputed, or when its hosting period ends. A greeting link cannot be removed by us, because we do not hold it. We can only stop our own pages from being used to show it.
Hosting and availability
A hosted invitation stays online for the period in your quote or confirmation. We do not promise lifetime hosting. Custom domain registration is paid to the registrar and renewal is your responsibility. Our hosting provider is Netlify, and we cannot promise that the service will never be interrupted.
Features that are not available
Guest RSVP collection and per-guest tracking are not available at the time of writing. A guest's name can be added to the link as a greeting only. We will not sell a feature that does not work.
Our work and ownership
We keep the rights to our design templates, illustrations, code and the My eInvite name. You receive the right to use your finished invitation for your event. Editable source files are not included unless agreed in writing.
Third-party services
Maps links open Google Maps, and sharing happens through WhatsApp or other apps you choose. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Hosting is provided by Netlify. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
Limits of responsibility
We take care to build accurate invitations, but we are not responsible for mistakes in content you approved, for delays caused by late content, or for outages of third-party services. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any one order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law, or our responsibility for fraud or anything the law does not allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change does not affect an order you have already paid for.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer forum you may use under the law. Please contact us first so we can try to put things right.
